Juan Mendoza

Juan F. Mendoza, 69, passed away on March 1, 2015. He was born on November 3, 1946 in Laredo, Texas. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War stationed in Bittburg, Germany. Juan was an employee of the Corpus Christi Army Depot for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Mendoza and his uncle, Jose Angel Martinez. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his beloved wife of thirty-five years, Diana E. Mendoza; daughters, San Juanita (Daniel) Perez and Esmeralda (Victor) Pena; son, Juan F. Mendoza, Jr.; grandchildren, Daniel Perez, Jr., Zenaida Marie Gonzalez, Victoria Rene Pena, Vanessa Nicole Pena, Briana Pena, Angelica Maria Pena, Veronica and Victor Pena; his mother, Alicia Mendoza; siblings, Francisco (Graciela) Mendoza, Roberto (Elvia) Mendoza, Magdalena (Rodolfo) Pena, Alejandro (Laura) Mendoza, Alicia (Alex) Vera, Gerardo (Griselda) Mendoza; III; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, March 6, 2015 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Graveside services with full military honors will be at 12:00 noon at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
