Joshua Noah Romanczyk, age 45, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on October 12, 2024. Born on January 5, 1979, to Walter Noah Romanczyk and Nancy Sue Murphy, Josh grew up in Corpus Christi, attending Flour Bluff schools and graduating from Calallen High School, where he met his high school sweetheart, Jacqueline "Doherty." Together, they were affectionately known as Babers and Babers.
Josh married Jacqueline in 2005, and they created a loving home for their two daughters, Emma and Naomi. He was immensely proud of his family and cherished every moment spent watching his girls play sports—Emma on the basketball court and Naomi on the softball field. His enthusiasm for their accomplishments brought him unparalleled joy.
Josh was an avid fisherman and hunter who cherished sharing his passion and teaching his nephew, Noah. He enjoyed the great outdoors, especially during family beach days filled with laughter, playful antics, and his best friend James' delicious barbecue. He was a hardworking entrepreneur, owning two companies where he built beautiful things that brought joy to others. His latest masterpiece, a home for his family, stands as a testament to his dedication and love.
Josh was also passionate about fishing, having acquired his captain’s license, dreaming of sharing his love for the water with his family and friends. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jacqueline; his daughters, Emma and Naomi; his father, Walter Noah Romanczyk; stepfather, Danny Curry; sister, Tristan Romanczyk; and brother, Clinton Curry. He is also remembered by his aunt "Bunny" Lois Masterson, uncles Billy and Johnny Murphy, and his late uncle Joe Romanczyk. Josh was a loving uncle to many and a cherished cousin to countless others.
Known for his loud voice and infectious laughter, Josh had a unique ability to light up any room. He was both tough and gentle, a loving presence who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
As we reflect on his life, we find comfort in knowing that Josh was surely met by his mother, Nancy, in heaven's loving embrace.
In loving memory of Josh, we celebrate his life and the joy he brought to our hearts.
