Josephine “Joyce” Bockholt, 86, of Deer Park, Texas, formerly of Robstown, Texas passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019. She was born April 16, 1932 in Robstown, Texas to Frank and Anna Hlavinka Moravek. She was a homemaker, an active member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and was active with her husband in the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna Moravek, her husband, Leo B. Bockholt, Sr., her son, Leo B. Bockholt, Jr., her sister, Barbara Vickery and her brother-in-law, Ervin Menn. She is survived by her son, Myron J. Bockholt and his wife Tammy; her daughter, Rita Marie Harris and her husband Michael; her daughter-in-law, Elaine Bockholt; her five grandchildren, Michelle Gordon and her husband Jason, Lisa Bockholt, Brandon Harris and his wife Kate, Hayley Martins and her husband Danilo and Courtney Harris; one great grandchild, Bekah Gordon; her sister, Betty Menn; her brother-in-law, Jimmy Vickery; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. until 7 P.M. with the Rosary to be recited at 7 P.M. Thursday, January 24, 2019 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. until 10 A.M. with the Funeral Mass to be concelebrated at 10 A.M. Friday, January 25, 2019 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Rev. Mark Whellan and Rev. Jerry Sheehan as concelebrants. Entombment will follow at Robstown Memorial Park Mausoleum.
