Jose Vallejo

Senior Master Sgt. Jose Luis Vallejo of Goodyear AZ was born on June 19, 1952 in Realitos, TX to Jose Angel and Benina Vallejo. Jose passed away at the age of 68 on December 20, 2020 at his home with his loving family at his side. He retired after serving  21 1/2 years with the Air Force. He married Rosa Rivas on September 21, 1973. He is preceded in death by his parents and one Granddaughter. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rosa Vallejo of Goodyear, AZ and two daughters Melinda (Jacob) Tijerina from Fort Worth, TX and Norma Jean (Paul) Tillson from Goodyear, AZ, and three Granddaughters Yasmin Tijerina, Rebeka Tijerina and Angelica Blodgett, five sisters and three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday January 4th at 6:00 pm, Rosary services at 7:00 pm at Sawyer-George Funeral Home at 12497 Leopard St., Corpus Christi, TX. Funeral services will be on Tuesday January 5th, with a funeral mass at 10:00 am at The Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 1123 Main Drive, Corpus Christi, TX. Interment to follow and he will be laid to rest at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Rd., Corpus Christi, TX.
