Johnnie Flores, 55, loving husband, father, brother, grandpa, uncle and friend, went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 23, 2010. He was born August 27, 1954 in Raymondville, Texas to Isidro and Viola Fonseca Flores. He was employed by Frank’s Casing Crew for 20 years and was an usher and member of Church of Hope. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of almost 34 years, Irene Flores; his children, Debbie (Paul) Villarreal, Daniel (Deonna) Flores, David Flores, Diana (Joshua) de la Torre, Donna Flores and Johnnie Flores all of Corpus Christi, Texas; his brothers, Noe and Saul Flores of Corpus Christi, Texas; his sisters, Ruth (Lester) Kauffman and Cynthia (Joe) Alvarez all of Corpus Christi, Texas; seven grandchildren, Cassidy, Ethan, Jacob, Julie, Joshua, Ryan and Raven; aunt and uncle, Ernestina and Eliseo Cortinas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. with the family present from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Church of Hope. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 A.M. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the Church of Hope with Pastor Rod Young officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens. The family would like to give a very special thanks to Odyssey Health Care, especially Ben Campbell and Amy Villarreal, Angel Bright Hospice Center for their kindness and generosity and to all of our church family at Church of Hope for all their prayers, support, food donations and care.
