Jimmy Granderson

Jimmy Wayne Granderson, 71, of Robstown, Texas, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015. He was born October 25, 1943 to James Stenson Granderson and Gwendolyn Mitchell Granderson. He was retired from public service with the Nueces County Sheriff’s office. He is survived by his wife, Harriet Cliffe Granderson of Robstown, Texas; his sons, James M. (Gina) Granderson of Beeville, Texas and David (Lexie) Granderson of San Antonio, Texas; his daughters, Nicole (Chris) Wilson of Robstown, Texas and Tonya West (special friend, Lea Ann Fondren) of Corpus Christi, Texas; his mother, Gwen Douglas of Arkansas; a brother, Michael Granderson of Arkansas; two sisters, Charlotte Clark and Gwenda Hernsbuger of Arkansas; grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica, Nicholas, Cody, Jacob and Sidney. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Wittner, Cory McFall, Loyd Pittman, Jr., Jeff Howerton, Danny Crosby and Chris Wilson. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
