Odem, Texas Jimmie Clay Mohrmann, 69, passed away Monday, April 12, 2010. He was born March 11, 1941 in Flat, Texas to Harry “Pop” Mohrmann, Jr. and Nona Mae Brown Mohrmann. Jimmie graduated from Odem High School in 1960 and was an avid Odem Owls fan. He was employed at J. I. Hailey, Inc. and was a member of First Baptist Church in Odem. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister and her husband, Rae Jean and Casey DuBose of Rosenberg, Texas; his nieces, Darla Dian Hodgkiss (Mark) of Beeville, Texas and Dixie Deann Skinner (Paul) of Manassas, Virginia; grand niece, Leah Hodgkiss; great nephew, John Anthony Skinner; uncle, Gene Brown of Katy, Texas; four cousins. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until 8 P.M. with the family present from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with his brother-in-law, Anthony “Casey” DuBose officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Odem, Texas. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brown, Paul Skinner, Mark Hodgkiss, Ronnie Guzman, Billy Hanstrom and William Ray Scull. Those who wish may make contributions to South Texas Children’s Home, P. O.
