Jerry Goodwin

Jerry Wayne Goodwin, 73, went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2010. He was born June 14, 1936 in Springfield, Missouri to Roy E. Goodwin and Grace Howard Goodwin. He received his schooling in Neodesha, Kansas and was married to Sharon Harvey Goodwin on April 18, 1954. He was a past President of the Rotary Club, served on the Neodesha School Board and Neodesha Fair Board. He was an avid golfer everywhere he lived. He is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Joe Renfro and son, Tony Goodwin. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; two sons, David Goodwin and Bradley Goodwin both of Corpus Christi, Texas; six grandchildren, Nicholas of Oklahoma, Jeffrey, Melody, Gary and April of Kansas and Megan of Texas; four great grandsons. Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Annaville Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Neodesha Cemetery in Neodesha, Kansas at a later date. Those who wish, in lieu of flowers, may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
