Jerry Champion, Jr.

O’Neal was born in Monahans, Tx. to Jerry O’Neal Champion and Nelda Faye Pullin Champion.  In 2007 he was blessed with a bonus Mom, Nancy Champion.

A few days before his 54th birthday O’Neal entered heaven and was reunited with his best friend and mother, Nelda Faye Pullin Champion.

O’Neal was a hero with a heart of gold. He worked hard and the knowledge he held was endless. He had many strong connections in his lifetime. When he called you a friend, it was for life, he held you close to his heart.  He laughed when you laughed and hurt when you hurt.

O’Neal had an overwhelming amount of love and pride for his son Austin, and would always strive to give him the world.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Nelda Faye Pullin Champion.

He is survived by his son, Austin O’Neal Champion of Corpus Christi, Tx., father, Jerry (Nancy) Champion, of Corpus Christi, Tx., sister, Kelli (John) Rozypal. Niece and nephews; Caleb, Katelyn and Camdyn Rozypal of Corpus Christi, Tx. and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.
