Jennifer Wood-Vanderheiden

Jennifer Lynn Wood-Vanderheiden, age 53, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away November 16, 2013. She was born November 13, 1960 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Jennifer graduated from Tuloso-Midway High School, McMurray College and University of Texas at Arlington. She taught at Delmar College, The Corpus Christi Montessori School and her love, the Good Shepherd Religious Education at St. Philips Catholic Church. Jennifer was preceded in death by her brother, Chip Wood and is survived by her husband, David Vanderheiden of Corpus Christi, Texas; children, Andrew, Gregory and Rebecca Vanderheiden all of Corpus Christi, Texas; parents, Barry and Alice Wood of Corpus Christi, Texas; sisters, Juliette Wood of Alice, Texas, Lucy Balusek of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister-in-law, Sharla Wood of Midlothian, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at the St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 3513 Cimarron Rd., Corpus Christi, Texas 78414. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 20, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 3513 Cimarron Rd., Corpus Christi, Texas 78414 with Rev. John Amepperambil as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Violet, Texas.
