Janet LaDean Ursprung McCann, 70, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at her home. She was born November 28, 1941 in Charleston, West Virginia to Jack Raymond and Irene Jeannette Olson Ursprung. She was a day care teacher for 26 years, working at Little Circus and Granny's Kountry School. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses - Airport Congregation. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard McCann and a brother, Jack Ursprung, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Lynnet LaDean (Vernon) Downen, Irene Renee (Edwin) McDaniel of Corpus Christi, Texas and Marcy Lee (James) Beck of Portland, Texas: her sister, Laurel Lee (Joseph) Tatum of Corpus Christi, Texas; two grandchildren, Katee Lee Bosworth and Kyle Curtis Beck; one great grandchild, Lily Mae Carman. Visitation will begin at 10 A.M. Friday, April 13, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Friday, April 13, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Mark O'Neill officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
