Janelle Walker

Janelle Walker, 86, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away the morning of December 25, 2020 in Katy, Texas. She resided in Portland, Texas for 19 years before moving to Katy. Janelle was a member of First Baptist Church Portland and a volunteer at Driscoll Children’s Hospital. She liked to swim, play tennis, fish and watch the Dallas Cowboys. However, she was most passionate about spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband George Edward Walker. She is survived by her daughter Janice (Ray) Ellis of Katy, son Glen (Stefany)Walker of Beeville, grandchildren Mitchell Ellis of Austin, Morgan Ellis of Houston, Whitney (Greg) Breaux of Beeville, Chelsey (Clint) Willis of Beeville and four great-grandchildren, Reese and Layton Breaux and Tatum and Cole Willis all of Beeville. She is also survived by her sisters Wanda Hickman and Sharon Kerr. Janelle had a servant’s heart and a gentle soul. She always put others first. She will be deeply missed.
