Scott was one tough cowboy and he proved that until the day God called him home. He had a passion for the cowboy life and had many stories to tell about his “cow puncher” days. He spent countless hours teaching his boys how to ride, rope and cowboy. He had a natural ear for music and he could play any instrument he picked up. He spent hours entertaining his family and friends. He loved spending time in the Hill Country on the Guadalupe River, fishing with his sons, tending to his garden, and hanging out on his back porch at home. Scott believed it was the simple pleasures, not material wealth that brought life’s greatest joys. He walked with the Lord daily and he was a true believer in God’s Amazing Grace. We find comfort knowing that Scott was met by his Savior with these words- “Welcome Home, Cowboy!”
