James Clark, Jr.

James Roy “Jimmy” Clark, Jr., age 81, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away October 17, 2014. He was born December 1, 1932 in Waco, Texas to James Roy and Hettie Bell Abbott Clark. Jimmy worked for Southwestern/Kerr-McGee refinery until his retirement. After he retired he spent his time traveling and fishing Corpus Christi Bays. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Lucrecia Grim Clark; daughters, Deborah (Chris) Ferguson, Raina (Bob) Pegg, Cynthia (Santos) Suniga, Jamie (David) Collier; sister, Joycelyn (Terry) Carter; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation with the family present will be on Monday, October 20, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the charity of your choice.
