Jakob Baker

Jakob Neil Baker, 28, passed away on August 18, 2017 at the Valley Baptist Hospital in Harlingen, Texas. He worked in the oil field and was a member of the Cross Trails Cowboy Church in Orange Grove, Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Troy Arnold, Sr., Lydia Marie Arnold and Ray Martin. He is survived by his wife, Courtney Rene Baker; children, Chelsey Rena Baker, Chloe Regina Baker and Jayton Neal Baker; parents, Steven James Baker and Catherine Theresa Baker; siblings, Steven James Baker, II, Joshua Neil Baker, (Chastine), Stefaney Lynn Baker (boyfriend, Roberto Hernandez); nieces, Juliaunna Natalia Baker, Amelia Grace Baker, Ilenia Marie Baker; nephew, Jason Cullien Childress; grandmother, Carol Martin; brother-in-law, Jacob Austin Childress; sister-in-law, KayLeigh Ann Newton and (Skyler) Newton; mother-in-law, Wendie April Childress. Visitation will be from 9 AM to 10 AM on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home with the funeral service conducted at 10 AM. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
