J. Ballew

J. R. “Reggie” Ballew, 74, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014. He was born March 13, 1940 in Howe, Texas to John Sadler Ballew and Bessie Mae Wiggins Ballew. He was retired from CP&L/AEP after 41 years of service. Reggie was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship Church. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Laura Ballew of Corpus Christi, Texas; his daughters, Bridgette (Charles) Vieh of San Benito, Texas, and Amanda (Steve) Mc Clure of Corpus Christi, Texas; his son, John Ballew of Corpus Christi, Texas; 8 grandchildren, A. J., Jenna, Crystal, Alaida, Stephanie, Justin, Arden and Jadyn; 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 2 P.M. Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Abundant Life Fellowship, 9550 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Texas. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 P.M. Sunday at Abundant Life Fellowship with Pastor Rick Milby officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Monday, August 4, 2014 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve McClure, Charles Vieh, Artie Swails, Matt Snyder, Tim Ashley and Bert Quintanilla. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Wright, David Glenn, Kit Silver and Gary Vaughn.
