Horace Called

Horace Allen Magouirk, Allen as he was called, was born February 1, 1932 to Horace Michael and Hattie Bell Magouirk. He was one of 12 children and was preceded in death by Mack, JR, JB, Cecil, Clarence, Ray, Alfred, Pauline, Mildred, Dorthey, and Beatrice. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Norma Jean, wife of Clarence Magouirk; his son, David Magouirk and his wife Christy; his daughter, Susanne “Sissie” and her husband, Kirk Bennett and their son, Devin and his daughters, Bailey and Brook; son, Jeffrey Magouirk and his wife Leia, and their children, Devon, Alicia, and Elizabeth; great grandson, Jaden Blank. Pallbearers will be his sons, David Magouirk and Jeffrey Magouirk, his son-in-law, Kirk Bennett, his grand-sons, Devin Bennett and Devon Blankenship, grand nephew, Travis Magouirk , nephews, Mark Magouirk and Mike Whitfield. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:30 A.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Brynestad officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
