Herman Buetow

Herman Wilbert Buetow, 67, of Sandia, Texas passed away on January 24, 2017 surrounded by family after a long struggle with cancer. Wil was born in Beeville, Texas to Marvin and Opal (Kruse) Buetow. Wil was preceded by his parents and his father-in-law Marvin Groom. He is survived by his sister, Sarah Buetow; wife, Anita (Groom) Buetow; children, Lynley (Buetow) and Jason Doyen, Derek and Cari Buetow, Brent and Holly Buetow, and Megan Buetow, and his mother-in-law, Melva Groom. He was a big, gentle giant who loved his family deeply, including his grandchildren, Jeremiah Doyen, Lindy Puckett, and Piper Buetow. He also enjoyed woodworking , gardening, and his co-workers. Visitation will be from 2 to 4pm on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 pm on Monday, January 30. 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Live Oak Cemetery in Manacha, Travis County, Texas.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: MD Anderson Cancer Center P.O.
