Hector Mario Marquez, 48, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016. He was born August 7, 1967 in Patterson, California to Fidel and Estella Marquez. He is survived by his wife of 22 years and his soul mate for 29 years, Jeannie Marquez; his beloved son, Vincent Marquez; his parents, Fidel and Estella Marquez; his sisters, Veronica Garcia (Luis), Cynthia Nilo (Willie); his brother, Fidel Marquez, Jr.; his sisters-in-law, Jennifer Burnison (Brian), Jessica Skinner (Eric); brother-in-law, Joseph Carabajal (Brenda); nephews, Richard Marcos Trevino, Willie Nilo, Jr., Jordan Burnison, Gabriel Garcia, Luis R. Garcia; nieces, Heather Burnison, Evelyn Garcia, Veronica Garcia, Alexa Nilo, Katherine Carabajal, Katelyn Carabajal, Chloe Teston, Isabella Skinner, Anna Rose Skinner; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting at his ranch, barbecuing with friends and family, watching boxing and MMA, and loved his Houston teams, the Astros, Texans and Rockets. Visitation will be from 4:30 P.M. until 7 P.M. Monday, April 25, 2016 at Sawyer-George-Funeral Home Chapel The Rosary will be recited at 7 P.M. Monday, April 25, 2016 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church with Rev. Emilio Jimenez as celebrant. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Carabajal, Brian Burnison, Luis Garcia, Willie Nilo, Harry Vindas and Rick Gutierrez.
