Glenda Mccain

Glenda S. McCain, 64, of Banquete, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015. She was born August 30, 1951 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Roger Weldon and Myrtis Jeanette Buck Cummings. She married her husband, Michael, on July 30, 1988 in New Bern, North Carolina. She was a cashier at the Navy Exchange and owned and bred Winamere’s Springer Spaniel dogs. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Michael McCain of Banquete, Texas; her son, Michael Lee Arnett of Corpus Christi, Texas; her brother, Roger E. (Linda) Cummings of Llano, Texas; nephews, Jason (Kim) Cummings, Jarret (Rachel) Cummings and J. T. Cummings; cousins and extended family. Visitation will be from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. with the family present from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, October 12, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in La Rosa Cemetery in Woodsboro, Texas.
