Gladys Winkelmann

Gladys Lorraine Winkelmann, 95, of Corpus Christi, Texas, a former resident of Brenham, Texas, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014. She was born March 10, 1919 in Atascosa County, Texas to Ollie Horton Pilgrim and May Wells Pilgrim. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star both in Brenham. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Steele Foster of Corpus Christi, Texas; her son, Buz Steele and his wife, Sherry of Brenham, Texas; grandchildren, Nathan Steele and his wife Angelika of Brenham, Texas and MMC Marcus Steele, serving with the U. S. Navy and stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Lytle Masonic Cemetery in Lytle, Texas. Burial will follow.
