Gladys Miller

Gladys Miller, 83, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010. She was born February 8, 1927 in Hartselle, Alabama. Even to her last breath, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her great sense of humor and fun-loving spirit was an inspiration to others. She was loved by all her friends and family. Surviving is the true light of her life, her husband and life mate of 56 years, Harold; her daughters, Diana Colwell and Karen Riordan; grandchildren, Kimberly (Jim) Mowery, Jim (Julie) Colwell, Nora and Emma Riordan; great grandchildren, Nakia, Claire, Gavin, Lily and Elizabeth; one brother, Clifford Welch; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Faye and Dub McKaughan, Ed and Evelyn Miller and Al and Jackie Miller; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Saturday, March 20, 2010 in the Sinton Cemetery. After the service we will gather at Harold’s and Glady’s home. The family requests you make donations in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice. The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff at TRISUN River Ridge Nursing Center and Lighthouse Hospice for their care during her final days.
