Gladys Foy

Mrs. Gladys Foy died peacefully on February 14, 2023.  She was 85 years old. She was the widow of Kenneth S Foy.

She is survived by daughters, Debbie Shindledecker and Amy Helt of Corpus Christi, Texas; sons-in law, Bill Shindledecker and Chris Helt and grandchildren, Steven, Christopher, Tyler, Julianna and Sarah.

Gladys was born in Trenton, New Jersey and graduated from Lambertville High School. She raised her family and spent most of her adult years in Lambertville, New Jersey. Gladys worked for the Lambertville Elementary School Board of Education and the Hunterdon County Bank. She was a long-time member of Lambertville Presbyterian Church and served in numerous capacities of the Woman’s Association.  She was also a kindergarten Sunday school teacher for many years. Gladys and Ken retired to Cape Coral, Florida in 1987. Gladys relocated to Corpus Christi, Texas in 2013 to be closer to her family and enjoy her grandchildren. A Celebration of Life for Gladys will be held at the Annaville Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas at 3pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
