Geraldine Gallia

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our mother and grandmother, Jerrie Gallia, on November 22, 2013. She was born April 15, 1941 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a retired Paraprofessional of Katy ISD. The Lord took her to be with him unexpectedly. Mom had many accomplishments in her life but she was most proud of her four children and six grandchildren. Mom was loved by many and her way of bringing life and conversation to a room will be missed dearly. Her memory will live on through those of us who love her. She is survived by son, Frank Gallia of Lubbock, Texas; son, Wayne Gallia and his wife Jennifer, their two sons, Weston and Weldon; daughter, Jobeth Barnes and her children, Matthew and Audrey; daughter, Vicki Lee and her husband Alan, their two daughters, Kandace and KaraBeth. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, November 27 at 10:00 A.M. followed by a funeral service to be conducted at 11:00 A.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Our mother will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
