Geraldine Butler

Geraldine (Geri) Klanika Butler went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 15, 2014. Geri was 74 years of age and born in Agua Dulce, Texas. She was a beloved mother, daughter, aunt, grandmother and a great friend to many. Geri graduated from Sinton High School and Corpus Christi Business College. She worked for many years in the Oil & Gas Industry. She had many treasured memories of her camping group, traveling, fishing and wonderful times at Lake Mathis. Geri was a very giving person who loved life and never ceased to help where needed. She was a very independent woman long before it became fashionable. Her memory will live on in the heart of the ones she loved. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bessie Klanika; her husband, Wally Butler and siblings Elaine, June and Janelle. Geri is survived by her son, Eric Nolte; daughter, Susan Sawyer; granddaughter, Kaci Sawyer; stepson, Mark Butler; stepdaughter, Laura (Neal) Stewart; brothers, Raymond (Dorothy) Klanika and Alton (MaryAnn) Klanika; numerous nieces and nephews and friend Jack Mathis A Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sawyer George Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Luckenbach officiating.
