Gene Clopton

Gene Clopton passed away on August 20, 2018 after a long illness. He was born in Waxahachie, Texas on December 24, 1931. Gene and his wife Norma moved to Corpus Christi in 1963. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Norma L. Clopton; their five children, Keith (Rhonda) Clopton, Scott (Joe Jalomo ) Clopton, Wanda Clopton, Randy Clopton, Robby (Kim) Clopton; grandchildren, Cameron Clopton, Ethan Clopton, Amanda Clopton, Brooklynn Clopton, Makynna Hood, Garrison Clopton; great grandchildren, Tristan Clopton and Troy Clopton. Viewing and visitation will be on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 31, 2018 at12:30 p.m. in the Sawyer- George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with full Military Honors will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
