Mathis, Texas Gary Allen Witt, 69, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011. He was born December 2, 1941 in Parkville, Missouri to Jewell Johnson Witt and Ina Mae Cavanaugh Witt. Mr. Witt graduated from Parkhill High School in Kansas City, Missouri in 1959 and attended Park College. He was a Kansas City, Missouri firefighter, was a business consultant, owned a catering business and CW Café in Mathis before becoming ill. He was a wonderful, beloved husband, and a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Witt of Mathis, Texas; his daughter, Jennifer Witt-Vallejo of Kansas City, Kansas; three grandchildren, Andrew Vallejo, Anthony Vallejo (Tenille) and Amy Bradbury (Andy); eight great grandchildren, Alyssia, Julianna and Eva Vallejo, Tatum, Avary and Braylin Vallejo and Kaitlin and Kennedy Bradbury. Visitation with the family present will begin at 9 A.M. and the Memorial Service will begin at 11 A.M. Saturday, April 30, 2011 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Orange Grove, Texas with Pastor Jonathon Kosec officiating. Those who wish may make contributions to SPCA, San Patricio County, P. O. Box 1693, Aransas Pass, Texas 78335 in his memory to help start an animal rescue facility in San Patricio County.
