Fred Johnston

Fred Lawrence Johnston, age 40 of Corpus Christi, Texas died peacefully at his home after a long battle with kidney cancer on June 7, 2011 with his family by his side. Fred was born August 21, 1970 to Robert E. Johnston and the late Virginia Hernandez Johnston. He was a Chemical Operator for Oxychem since 2003. Fred always lived life to the fullest and always welcomed everyone with a smile. He was a huge fan of the rock group KISS. He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Deantes Johnston of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters, Krystle D. Johnston and Bobbi J. Johnston both of Corpus Christi, Texas; son, Trent A. Johnston of Corpus Christi, Texas; step-daughters, Alyssa N. Moreno, Ashley R. Suarez, Samantha M. Zentz all of Corpus Christi, Texas; granddaughter, Mykaela L. Johnston of Corpus Christi, Texas; father, Robert E. Johnston of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother, Robert E. Johnston, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas; numerous family and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, June 10, 2011 from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Morgan Rowsome celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
