Frank Elias Anzaldua

Frank Elias Anzaldua, died unexpectedly on September 27, 2023, at the age of 72.

Frank was born on September 24, 1951in Refugio, Texas to Jose and Maria Anzaldua. Frank retired from the United States Army after 20 years of honorable service. Frank married Elida Gonzales on March 12, 1975. Frank’s hobbies were gardening, fishing and hunting.

Frank is survived by his wife, Elida Anzaldua; two sisters, one brother and numerous nephews, nieces and two grandsons. Frank would like to also recognize his biological daughter, Carmen Rosales and thank her for coming into his life. Frank is preceded in death by both of his parents, Jose and Maria Anzaldua.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 5:00-8:00PM with the Holy Rosary to be Recited at 7:00PM at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 11:30AM at St. Peter’s Prince of the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial to follow with Full Military Honors to be presented at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests to make a donation to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
