Frances Kay Reiman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frances Reiman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and memaw who went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2024. She passed away peaceably in her sleep after a brief illness. She had a life full of love and laughter.


Frances was born October 4, 1939, to Lonnie Merritt and Lila Mae Bingham Merritt in Kenedy, Texas.

Fran grew up in the Runge area of South Texas and graduated from Runge I.S.D. Stan and Fran enjoyed 65

years of marriage with children born in Alaska, California, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio. Fran was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed deeply. There was always an atmosphere of laughter, love, good cooking, and sometimes a little mischief in Fran's home. You never had to wonder where you stood with Fran, she would tell you at a moment's notice!


Frances is survived by her loving family, including her husband of 65 years Stanley, her daughters

Tammy (Wayne) Melton, Kerry (Michael) Berry, Daina (John Witte) Rytter, and son Trey (Alisa) Reiman. She was the adoring grandmother to Jason (Jenny) Berry, Michelle Berry, Justin (Emily) Melton, Nicole (Edward) Wells, Stephanie (Justin) Dunn, Kimberly Rytter, Steven (Mikenzi) Rytter, Hope Reiman and Benjamin Reiman. Cherished Memaw to Gary, Walker & Brynlee Wells; Addison Berry; Cadence Bates; Tanner & Jace Dunn, and Judson Melton. Brothers Lonnie (Zettie) Merritt, Charles (Marylyn) Merritt, and Scott (Cheryl) Merritt.


She was preceded in death by her parents Lonnie and Lila Mae Merritt and Brother Morris Merritt.


A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 11:00 am at Annaville Baptist Church,

4025 Violet Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78410. Following the service, a reception will be held at ABC, providing

an opportunity for loved ones to come together, offer support, and honor a life well lived.


Fran is now at rest with our Lord Jesus Christ in eternal peace, and her memory will shine in our hearts

forever.
