Floyd W. Baker

Floyd W. Baker 91 years old went to be with the Lord on August 14th 2024 at Christus Sphon Shoreline Hospital in Corpus Christi Tx, born 07/03/1933 in St. Joe Arkansas to Thomas Baker & Lillie Baker (Brown).

Floyd had a very full life that included 21yrs serving in USAF (Korea & Vietnam), Playing his guitar in many bands, 2 College degrees and retiring from the City of Corpus Christi Water Dept. Playing his guitar was a lifelong passion and from an early age in Marshall Arkansas during gospel church services to entertaining many folks during his Military career and playing all the time until his passing. The most notable accomplishment however is how he lived his life, with great character and integrity setting the bar very high to reach, loving his family and friends with all of his heart.

Floyd is Survived by his wife Linda J. Baker (Duncan), Brother Tom Baker, Son Douglas, Daughter Rebecca, Son Duane (Sarah) along with his many nephews, nieces and grandchildren that will miss there Papa very much.
