Flora Berry

Flora Irene Berry, 94, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013. She was born February 22, 1918 in Coryell County, Texas to William Odus and Laura Edith Logan Rodgers. Mrs. Berry was a wonderful homemaker and a member of Tuloso-Midway Baptist Church for 47 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garlon I. Berry and a son, Charles Rodger Berry. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Berry (Jeryl) Gerdes of Georgetown, Texas; her son, Michael G. (Kerry) Berry of Corpus Christi, Texas; her grandchildren, Wayne (Angie) Gerdes of McKinney, Texas, Laurie Adams of Leander, Texas, Jason (Dawn) Berry of Corpus Christi, Texas and Michelle Berry of Corpus Christi, Texas; her great grandchildren, Evan Wayne Gerdes, Luke Gerdes, Adam Gerdes and Addison Berry; her brother, Floyd (Pat) Rodgers of Lancaster, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. with the family present from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Monday, February 18, 2013 at Tuloso-Midway Baptist Church with Pastor John McAllister officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
