On July the 8th, 2018 at 7:00 am on our Lords day, Felecia Lambert, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother went to sweet peaceful rest in her beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jimmy; her four sons, Jimmy (Kimberly) of Saint John, Indiana, Jared (Jessica) of Boerne, Texas, Joseph (Chelsea) of Boerne, Texas, and Jacob (Lynette) of Boerne, Texas; seven grand children; her parents, Bob and Beatrice Stewart of Salado, Texas; Her sisters Celeste Dickschat(Rodney), Belinda Preuss(Jeff), Melissa Knebel(Jeffery). And many nieces and nephews. Felecia was born on August 6, 1959 to Bob and Beatrice Stewart in Beaumont Texas. She graduated from Salado High School in 1978 and went on to Blinn Jr. College to study interior design. While at Blinn she met her future husband, Jimmy Lambert and on August 10, 1979, Jimmy and Felecia were married. Over the next seven years God blessed her and Jimmy with four sons . One year later she gave her heart to Christ, made a profession of faith and was baptized. Her love for her GA girls and her tireless work in teaching them Godly character was evident from the very beginning of her new life. After being a stay at home mom for 13 years, she started her career as a real estate agent. She also became an accountant running the family business that her mother- in- law had in Robstown. Felecia was a real go getter. Her work ethic and her drive for excellence was second to none. Anyone that knew her would probably agree that if you could use one word to describe Felecia, that word would be good. She was just such a good person. She loved people and she was not one to favor anyone over anybody else. She would always give everyone her best, whether it was selling a house, or preparing a tax return and every person she did business with she treated with dignity and respect. Felecia will be dearly missed by many people. Felecia’s passion for her work was very evident in the quality of her work, but her greatest legacy will always be her love for her family. Her daughter- in- law once described Felecia’s love for her family as “fierce”. I think Chelsea hit the nail on the head. Felecia loved her family with a passion like I’ve never seen in any other. A relentless attitude of love and service that eventually extended to her daughters- in-laws and her 7 grandchildren. The grand kids adored their NaNa. Her love for her mother and father and her sisters was just as passionate. For 39 years I watched her love people and her family like I’d never seen before and likely will never see again. Sweet baby, our 39 years together went by all too quickly. You blessed me with four of the finest sons any man could want. So just like I told you Saturday night, “rest well my sweet baby and I will see you in the morning”. Father, Felecia and I thank you for these last eight months. For in our suffering we have seen your glory like never before. All to the glory of Christ. The family would like to personally thank Dr’s William Fisher and Ajay Seghal for taking care of Felecia, and for all the brothers and sisters in Christ that loved us and carried us through these hard last eight months. She wanted to personally thank all of Jimmy’s co-workers and his supervisors for their endless prayers and for carrying him over these last eight months. It is truly appreciated. Thank you to all of the Valero family. We would like to personally thank Felecia’s sisters, Celeste, Belinda, and Melissa and her mother and father, Bob and Bea, for caring for her the way that they did. The family would also like to thank Gina Carroll, the nurse that stayed with and cared for Felecia for the last eight months. Gina you were truly a blessing to the whole family. Lastly the family would like to personally thank Steve Dean. Over 20 years ago, Felecia was so excited she passed her real estate exam. At that point she was looking for a broker to work for. She knew she could not work full time because she still had kids at home that would need her. She also knew that she would not work on Sundays which is a very busy day for real estate agents. So as she went trying to find employment, broker after broker turned her down because they needed full time agents. Felecia got very discouraged. I told her not to give up. God would provide. And He did. Her last stop was Calallen Realty. This is where she met Steve Dean. He told her sure Felecia, come work for me and whatever schedule you work is fine with me. She worked for Steve till the very end. Thank you Steve for being a friend to Felecia. You truly were an answer to prayer. Felecia Ann Lambert truly a virtuous woman Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday, July 13, 2018 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel.
