Evalyn Mcmichael

Evalyn Callender McMichael, 88, a longtime resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in Houston. She was born September 8, 1925 in Haynesville, Louisiana to Sidney and Evalena DeMoss Callender. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, and her husband, Garland Cleave McMichael. She is survived by her daughters, Susie McMichael and Luanne (Joe Michael) McKinney; two grandchildren, Conor and Darby Anne McKinney all of Houston, Texas; 2 nieces and 4 nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
