Eunice Fields

Eunice Lucille Fields, was born November 9, 1919, and passed away February 26, 2011 at the age of 91, in Corpus Christi, Texas at the Tri-Sun River Ridge Care Center. She was the fourth child of Robert and Tommie Haskins. She was a longtime resident of Vernon, Texas where she married Bennie Fields on October 2, 1937. During their marriage they were active members of the Central Christian Church. They were married until his death on February 2, 1994. Together they owned and operated The Fields Laundry and Dry Cleaning business until their retirement in the 1970's. Their marriage produced two daughters, Nelle Earthman and Marsha Rogstad. Lucille is survived by her two daughters, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two sisters. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at East View Memorial Cemetery in Vernon, Texas with Rev. Jim Antwine officiating. Burial will follow.
