Esther Fay McCaskill

Esther Fay McCaskill, 86, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away peacefully, on January 29, 2024, in her home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dan L McCaskill Sr., Daughter Deborah S McCaskill, and Mother Alma Johnson Baker, Father Alex Baker, Brothers JB, Rodney, Tommy, Douglas, and Jimmy Baker, Sisters Sharon Horn, and Fannie Lopez.

She is survived by her Daughter Laura Majors, Son Dan (Ginger) McCaskill Jr., Sister Pearl Bruce, Grandsons Damian (Michelle) Soliz, and Dan (Jessica) Roehling, Granddaughters Carley (Mike) Vasquez, and Lea (Lucas) Crocker. Great Grandchildren Gage (Kim) Soliz, Elise Trevino, Cydni Richard, Mark Trevino, Maddox Soliz, Violet Crocker, Lucas W Crocker Jr., and Lillian Vasquez. Great-Great Grandchildren; Sebastian, Jaden, Ive, Zeile, Leloni, Zepplin Soliz.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and worked there as a child-care giver in the nursery for many years before retiring.

Esther (Fay) enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and pets. She was a loving and caring woman who was always willing to help those in need. She will be dearly missed and remembered fondly by all who knew her.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, February 17th beginning at 4:00 pm at Grace United Methodist Church.
