Ernestine Mctaggart Hoff

Ernestine McTaggart Hoff was born in Ricardo, Texas on November 19, 1935. She entered the loving arms of the Lord on August 26, 2020.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a remarkable cook who was known for her cinnamon rolls. She collected cookbooks and loved trying new recipes

She worked at the Kleberg County Hospital many years before her retirement. She lived in Bishop, Texas most of her life, before she and her husband of 65 years retired to Lake Mathis. She also enjoyed fishing with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd Hoff; children, Renae (George) Yaklin, Sherry (Jerry) Ellison, Gale (Mike) Anderson and Dale (Teresa) Hoff. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Era Louis and Francis McTaggart; one grandson, Brent Anderson and 3 sisters and 1 brother.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 11:00am at Sawyer-George Funeral Home.
