Ernestine Lambert, age 80, of Robstown, Texas passed away on April 7, 2012. She was born September 24, 1931 in Robstown to Jose and Virginia Charles Rodriguez. Tina was born, raised and lived in Robstown, Texas all of her life. She was a devoted wife of 53 years, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Those that knew her knew she was a go-getter. She founded and built Lambert Tax Service in 1966. With the help of her two sisters, Licha and Tere, Lamberts Tax has been an asset to the community of Robstown for over forty-six years. She possessed a love for her Church, and for God, that showed us every day that she belongs to Jesus. But those that knew her really well saw everyday a love for her grandchildren that could never be matched. God instilled in her heart a love for her grandchildren that amazed all of us. She will truly be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, Doyle Lambert of Robstown, Texas; son, Jimmy (Felecia) Lambert of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter, Debi (Addison) Lawrence; sisters, Margarita Gonzalez, Ruby Rodriguez, Alicia Cisneros, Teresa Rodriguez, Maria Elena Escobar; grandchildren, Jimmy Doyle Lambert, Jr., Jared Robert Lambert, Joseph Aaron Lambert, Jacob Isaac Lambert, Addison Reed Lawrence, Jacqueline Ernestine Lawrence, Ethan Doyle Lawrence, John Caleb Lawrence; great grandchildren, Hailey Lynn Lambert, Jared Ryan Lambert, Jimmy Doyle Lambert, III, Noah Jude Lambert. Visitation will be on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the River Hills Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Simmons officiating. Interment will be in the Robstown Memorial Park. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
