Emily Moore

Emily C. Moore, 83, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010. She was born May 10, 1927 in Cocoa, Florida to Harold and Jennie Penfield Renneberg. Emily married Jack D. Moore on April 30, 1948 and they moved to the Annaville area in 1953. Emily was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church for over 57 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Florence Wells, a brother, Archie Renneberg and a son, Dale Moore. She is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Jack D. Moore of Corpus Christi, Texas; her daughters, Sherry (Bryan) Courtney of Corpus Christi, Texas and Beverly (Jay) Cooper of Katy, Texas; her son, Stephen Moore of Robstown, Texas; her brother, Harold Renneberg of Conroe, Texas; four grandchildren, Jody and James Badum of Austin, Texas and Janet and Jess Cooper of Katy, Texas. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M. with the family present from 3 P.M. until 5 P.M. Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Monday, December 6, 2010 at Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Stan Whites officiating. Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park. Those who wish may make contributions to Grace United Methodist Church building fund.
