Elsie Perry

Elsie Virginia Perry, age 89 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away November 5, 2011. She was born September 12, 1921 in Goose Creek, Texas to the late Jess and Elva Sutton. She retired from the Corpus Christi Independent School District as a cafeteria manager at Moody High School after many years of service. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Thomas Fulton Taylor and Grady Earl Perry, a son, Thomas Edward Taylor, a brother, James Sutton and a sister Aileen Coley. She is survived by her sons, Richard E. (Mary) Taylor and A. Kiah Taylor; her daughter, Nancy C. Taylor; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday. November 8, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Seaside Memorial Park with Rev. Joni Sutton officiating. Interment will follow.
