Elsie Carrell

Elsie Inez Carrell, age 89, of Corpus Christi, Texas went to be with her Savior on September 20, 2011. Mrs. Carrell was born October 21, 1921 in Bell County, Texas to Clinton and Lula Myrick. She was a loving and devoted Mother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Houston Carrell; a son, Randell Carrell and a grandson, Scott Carrell. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Stringer of Corpus Christi, Texas; sons, Jimmy Carrell of Keller, Texas, Lynn Carrell of Skidmore, Texas; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jack Willoughby officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Odem. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Frances Benavidez, for her loving care of their parents. She was like a member of our family.
