Elizabeth Hart

Elizabeth Rencher Hart passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at her home in Johnson City, Texas. Elizabeth was born in Orange, Texas on May 19, 1920. She moved to Corpus Christi with her family when she was a child, and lived there until 2006 when she moved to be with her son and daughter-in-law. Elizabeth was a long time member of Oak Park Methodist Church. She was also a long time member of Clowns of America along with her sisters, Claudia Gouchie, Rhoda Cavin, Bessie Webb, and Camilla Watkins. She also loved to paint, collect antique glass, and enjoyed line dancing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Hart; her parents, Clarence and Elizabeth Rencher; sisters, Ruby Roland, Rhoda Cavin, Callie Smith, Bessie Webb, her brother, Clarence (Sonny) Rencher; her grandson, Michael Hart. She is survived by her son, Buz Hart and her daughter-in-law, Barbara; her sisters, Claudia Gouchie and Camilla Watkins. Visitation will be Friday, May 7, 2010 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Sawyer George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens. Pallbearers are Lonnie Watkins, Ronnie Watkins, Donnie Watkins, Mark Hudson, Michael Pusley, and Danny McCoy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
