Elisardo Gutierrez, Jr., a dedicated transport driver of hazmat products for Northern Propane and the Coastal States Mktg, peacefully passed away on May 17, 2024, at Coastal Palms Nursing Rehabilitation. Born on July 8, 1935, in Beeville Texas, Elisardo was a man of unwavering faith and commitment.
Elisardo devoted his life to God in his youth at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Sinton, Texas. This spiritual foundation remained steadfast throughout his lifetime as he exemplified honor and loyalty to his God, Family, and Country. For 42 years, he was a cherished member of Grace Church, where he selflessly served as a deacon for over 25 years.
Elisardo also proudly served in the United States Marine Corp., demonstrating his dedication to his country and embodying the values of service and sacrifice. Beyond his professional and military achievements, Elisardo was involved in impactful ministries such as prison outreach and children's ministry in Mexico.
Elisardo Gutierrez, Jr. is preceded in death by his loving father Elisardo Gutierrez, mother Elida Sanchez, and brother Rudolpho Gutierrez. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion cherished by his surviving family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife Lidia Gutierrez; adoring sister Elda Martinez; devoted son Charlie R. (Micki) Gutierrez; caring daughter Sandra A. (Fred) Moreno; grandchildren Mauri Burk, Melissa (James) Lill, Charlie Q. (Lauren) Gutierrez Jr., Sarah (Johnathan) Harper; great-grandchildren Skylar Barker, Megan Lill, Grace Lill, Lily Harper, and Noah Harper.
Elisardo Gutierrez, Jr. will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering faith, amazing sense of humor, and dedication to serving others. His legacy will continue to inspire all fortunate enough to know him.
