Elisa Deffendall Creacy

February 25, 1986- July 30, 2021

Elisa (Deffendall) Creacy, loving wife, new mother, sister, and friend to many drew her final breath at Bay Area Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, after giving birth to her new son while battling COVID-19. She was 35 years old. Elisa was born on February 25, 1986 in Huntington Beach, California to Ralph and Grace Deffendall III. Elisa was well known as a math teacher at Robstown High School for 14 years. She loved teaching and inspiring her students and colleagues alike. Above the love of teaching, she gave birth to her only child, a son, on July 14th,  just prior to her passing. Her love for her son could be seen through her smile and joy she carried in her heart. Her love for him radiated anytime she spoke of him.

Elisa married William Creacy March 14, 2020. They had a very loving relationship that was displayed through their devotion to each other. William will dearly miss the love of his life, partner, wife, and soulmate. They are members of Annaville Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Fannie Mae Deffendall Jr of Mount Juliet, Tennessee and her maternal grandparents, Jesus and Elisa Rangel of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is survived by her husband, William Creacy of Corpus Christi; son, Elijah Blake “Chipmunk” Creacy of Corpus Christi; her two step sons, Zackery and Colton Creacy of Cache, Oklahoma; her parents, Ralph and Grace Deffendall III of Corpus Christi; brother, Ralph Deffendall IV (Brandi) of Killeen, Texas; sister, Christina Johnson (Jerad) of Irving, Texas; in-laws, Michael and Pamela Creacy of Corpus Christi; brother-in-law, Paul Creacy of Corpus Christi; sister-in-law, Gwendolyn Creacy (Jeff) of Corpus Christi; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
