Edwin Mcdaniel, Sr.

Edwin C. McDaniel, Sr., 90, of Odem, Texas, passed away February 12, 2020 at his home after a long illness. He was born October 23, 1929 in Kenedy, Texas to Erasmus Crawford McDaniel and Frankie Mae Waddell McDaniel. He had lived most of his life in San Patricio County, Texas where he farmed for 44 years. He was known and liked by many people that were his friends. Edwin was a Jehovah’s Witness all of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Zella Mae McDaniel and his wife of 40 years, Laura Blanche Alexander McDaniel. He is survived by his son, Edwin McDaniel, Jr. of Odem, Texas and his daughter, Deidre Elizabeth McDaniel-Pena of Corpus Christi, Texas. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery in Odem, Texas. He will be interred next to his wife, Laura Blanche Alexander McDaniel.
