Edgar Hoelscher

Edgar Anton Hoelscher, 76 of Violet, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015. He was born August 24, 1939 in Violet, Texas to Herbert Joseph and Regina Hedwig Hoelscher. He was a graduate of Robstown High School and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Violet, Texas. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as an electrician. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gaynell Ann Hoelscher; his parents; his sisters, Leona, Dorothy, Floy Lee and Tina; and his brothers, Walter, Jerome, William and Francis. He is survived by his daughters, Regina Hoelscher, Crystal Burditt, Nadyne (Dan) Sullivan, Danna (Todd) Yeager and Anissa (Tony) Bullard; his brothers and sisters, Raymond (Judi), Richard, Rose Lee, Geri (John) and Mary Louise; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and great nephews. The Rosary will be recited at 7 P.M. Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Monday, December 7, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Violet, Texas with Rev. Zenon Konowalek as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Violet, Texas.
