Dorothy Dotson

Dorothy Dotson, 70, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away May 6, 2012 at her home. She was born October 22, 1941 in Nueces County, Texas to Clyde Fletcher "Bill" and Gladys Elizabeth Rudisell McGuire. She was a member of Arlington Heights Church of Christ. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Dori (Rex) Haley of Baytown, Texas; her son, Weldon Miller of Corpus Christi, Texas; her brothers, Carl (Barbara) McGuire of Mandeville, Louisiana and Kenneth (Judy) McGuire of Leakey, Texas; 7 grandchildren, Justin, C. J., Kira, Jaiden, Whitney, Jacob and Steven; 1 great grandchild, Riley; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M with the family present from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeffrey Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
