Doris Wostal

Doris Jean Wostal, 79, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015. She was born January 22, 1936 in Houston, Texas. Doris Jean was a graduate of Calallen High School and retired from CCAD at the naval air station. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Lee and Iola Irene Nye Gilliam; her brother, Roger Wayne Gilliam; her sister, Joy Gilliam; and her husband, Marvin L. Wostal, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Melanee (Brad) Warner and Teresa Adair; her sons, Marvin (Kathy) Wostal, Jr. and Andrew (Michelle) Wostal; grandchildren, Nicholas (Beverly) Warner, Amber (Keith) Wait, Jeremy Adair, Christopher Adair, Steven (Teri) Kobylak, Scott Wostal, Joshua Wostal, Mark Wostal and Grace Wostal; great grandchildren, Cameron Wait, Matthew Kobylak and Ben Warner; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The Rosary will be recited at 7 P.M. Monday, May 4, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 P.M. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church with Rev. Emilio Jimenez as celebrant. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
