Donya Lanae Burt Cabello, age 37, passed away on January 30, 2016. She was born on January 06, 1979 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Walter “Donnie” Donald Burt and Teena Marie Preston. Donya attended Calallen High School and was also a graduate of Texas School of Business in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Sunny Myers, grandmother, Mary Ellen Cole; grandfather, Lloyd Clay Cole; uncle, Lloyd Clay Cole Jr,; cousin, Ricky Everette and her step-father, Howard “Bud” Preston. Donya Lanae is survived by her mother, Teena Marie Preston (Howard “Bud”); father, Walter “Donnie” Donald Burt (Laura); grandmother, Edith Lucille Myers; husband, Richard “Ricky” Cabello; sons, Kyle Thomas Cabello and Kaine Tre Cabello; daughter, Kaelynn Tae Cabello; brother, Thomas Clay Carlile; sisters, Christina Burt Sanchez (Jerry), Fallon Marie Clement (Alfonso), Heather Lynn Burt (Chad), and Stephanie Nicole Burt. Pallbearers will be Thomas Carlile, Daniel Longoria, Daniel A. Longoria, Jesse Rios, Robert Persinger, Jr, and Derek Schroeder. Visitation with the family was at Sawyer- George Funeral Home on Friday, February 05, 2016 from 6pm-8pm. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday morning, February 06, 2016 at 10am in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Robstown at Memorial Park Cemetery.
