Donna Susan Bagnall

Donna grew up and went to school in Robstown, Texas.  She was a member of the National Honor Society when she graduated from Robstown High School in 1974 and attended an Office Managing School.  She worked at the Driscoll Children’s Hospital, B&R Cattle Company, and always talked and enjoyed working for King Copeland.   She found joy in substitute teaching where she was loved at Mathis ISD while her children were in elementary school.   Her greatest achievement though was being an amazing, dedicated and hard-working homemaker and mother.

Donna married at a young age to Ernest Allen Bagnall Sr. and had 2 children, Amanda Sue Bagnall and Ernest Allen Bagnall Jr. (spouse-Taylor Nicole Bagnall).   She treasured all the grandbabies in her life and had fun showering them with love and gifts:  Tiffany Nicole McGee, Christopher McGee, Ethan Allen Bagnall, Matthew Allen Ward, Myles Royis Ward, Natalie Ann Cline, Kambrie Kay Bagnall, and Braelyn Alease Bagnall.

Donna gave her life to the Lord when she was young and continued to be one devout obedient follower of our Lord Jesus Christ and was a member at Annaville Baptist Church.  She had a very huge heart of gold even though her life took many twists and turns, but she persevered looking to scripture and her very strong faith with a beautiful smile always shining.

Donna is survived by sisters,  Karen Kalenda Suggs (Noble), Karen Johnson Krueger (Skipper) and Kathy Kalenda Gibson.  She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin C. Kalenda Sr.; mother, Theresa Zett Kalenda; step-mother, Doloris Kalenda; sister, Sharon Appell; brother, Calvin C. Kalenda, Jr., and grandson, Matthew Allen Ward.

Donna has always been a beautiful, virtuous, God fearing, dedicated, sacrificial, loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, teacher and friend.   Now she is being held securely in her loving Sovereign Lord’s arms.
